3. Copy Your API Token: When your bot is created, you will receive a very long string called an API token from BotFather. This is a magic key. Copy it and keep it in a safe place, as it is what allows other programs to control your bot.

4. Choose Your AI Engine: Now you need a “brain” for the bot. You can use a no-code platform (like Voiceflow or GPTBots.ai which makes it much easier) or you can use APIs from a provider like OpenAI to do something custom, if you are looking for more technical control.

5. Connect and Configure: Inside your AI platform, and inside integrations or channels, find the Telegram option to put in your API token from BotFather. You will also be able to customize the bot's personality, instructions and control over its capabilities.

How Do You Attach an AI to WhatsApp?

The process of attaching an AI with WhatsApp is much more rigid and is mainly designed for businesses that are using the WhatsApp Business Platform.

1. Access a WhatsApp Business API: You will need to set up a Meta Business account and apply for access to the WhatsApp Business API. This can be done directly with Meta or with the assistance of a third-party BSP (Business Solution Provider).

2. Select Your AI Chatbot Platform: Choose a WhatsApp partner company for your platform (i.e. Zendesk, Intercom, Twilio). These businesses understand the technical parts of the API to operate successfully.

3. Connect and build your assistant: Connect your AI company with your WhatsApp Business Account using the log-in info provided. This is where you develop your conversation flow, train the AI on your company information (like product information, FAQs) and set up automated responses.
