This page explains how AI Girlfriend World makes money, how we keep our reviews independent, and how we correct mistakes. Our goal is simple: you should always be able to trust that a recommendation was earned, not bought.
Editorial independence
Our reviews, ratings, and rankings are decided by our editorial team based on hands-on testing — and nothing else. No company can pay to be featured, to receive a higher score, or to have a negative point removed. We decline pay-to-play placements and "sponsored review" arrangements.
How we're funded (affiliate disclosure)
AI Girlfriend World is reader-funded through affiliate links. Some links to AI companion apps are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up through them — at no extra cost to you. These commissions pay for the subscriptions we buy to test apps and keep the site running.
Crucially, affiliate relationships do not influence our verdicts. An app we earn a commission on can still rank below one we don't, and a low score stays low regardless of any partnership. Affiliate links are labelled where they appear, and individual reviews carry an affiliate disclosure.
Accuracy & fact-checking
Before we publish, we verify pricing, plan names, and key features directly inside each app. A second team member reviews claims for accuracy and tone. Because AI products change often, we date our reviews and re-check our top picks when something material changes.
How we use AI
We're a site about AI, so we're transparent about our own use of it. We may use AI tools to help with research, outlining, and editing — but every review reflects genuine, human, hands-on testing, and a human editor is responsible for the final published content, the ratings, and the rankings. We do not publish unedited, machine-generated reviews of apps we haven't used.
Corrections
We want to get things right. If you spot an error — outdated pricing, a changed feature, or anything that reads unfairly — please tell us via the Contact link in the footer or by emailing info [at] aigirlfriendworld.com. We update the page and, where a correction is significant, note it on the article.
Affiliate & advertising relationships
We participate in affiliate programs operated by various AI companion platforms and networks. Participation in a program never guarantees coverage or a positive review. We do not accept payment in exchange for editorial coverage, and any non-editorial promotional content would be clearly labelled as such.
Reader wellbeing
AI companionship can be meaningful, but it isn't a substitute for professional mental-health support. Across our content we encourage healthy boundaries, and we flag apps that handle vulnerable users poorly. If you're struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional or a local support line.
